El profeta Isaías anunció la Navidad con 700 años de anticipación. Para poder apreciar la Grandeza de la Navidad, tenemos que tener en cuenta el momento histórico en que fue dado este claro anuncio de la Navidad. El profeta Isaías, hizo este anuncio cuando la situación del pueblo de Dios era extremadamente difícil. Era un tiempo de tribulación y tinieblas, oscuridad y angustia. Sobre Judá gobernaba el rey Acaz.

The prophet Isaiah announced Christmas 700 years early. To be able to appreciate the Greatness of Christmas, we have to keep in mind the historic moment in which this clear Christmas announcement was given. The prophet Isaiah gave this announcement when the situation for God's people was extremely difficult. It was a time of distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish. King Ahaz ruled Judah.
