En 1 Corintios 7, el apóstol Pablo está respondiendo a inquietudes puntuales que los Corintios tenían acerca del matrimonio. Los Corintios habían llegado a conclusiones erradas acerca del matrimonio. Ante el revuelo que estas conclusiones estaban generando en la iglesia, preguntan al apóstol Pablo, seguramente con el propósito de encontrar algún fundamento con autoridad a sus conceptos equivocados.

In 1 Corinthians 7 the Apostle Paul is responding to concerns the Corinthians had about marriage. The Corinthians had come to some misguided conclusions about marriage. In light of the disturbance these conclusions were generating in the church, they question the Apostle Paul, probably with the purpose of finding authoritative basis for their misconceptions.
